While the options for relaxation and "extreme wave watching" are plenty in this natural setting, this lagoon on the south-side of Aruba is also ideal for a wide variety of marine activities.
Explore the coastline by kayak, sail, snorkel or dive. You can also contact Aruba Nature Sensitive Hiking & Jeep Tours for an out of the ordinary experience with nature.
The lagoon is the mooring place of the Tranquilo, a 43-foot sailing yacht that offers several different scenic cruises. Many diving operations on the island use the lagoon for diving tours including classes for beginners. There is also a kayaking operation nearby, located adjacent to the Aruba Nautical yacht-club.
The cabanas are within walking distance from two small convenience stores, and the Marina Pirata, one of the best restaurants on the island.
